What is an Affiliate?
An affiliate is person or business who registers with us and refers people to our online bookstore. For doing this, we pay them a commission based on the value of any order the referred person makes.

How do you know who I referred and what to pay me?
When you become an affiliate, you are assigned a unique identifier. This is "hidden" in the hyperlink you place on your web site. When a person clicks on that link the tracking system automatically knows they were referred by you and flags any order they make so we know to pay you a commission.

What if they don't order straight away?
The tracking systems allows for this. It remembers everyone you refer even if they dont order on their first visit. When they do order, it is alerted and flags it to pay you a commission.

How long does it remember the people I refer?
It remembers them for up to one year. However, if they come back through your web site and click on the link, the system refreshes it's memory for a further 12 months. So the shortest period is 12 months but it can go for a lot longer.

Do I only get paid a commission on the first order?
No, we have set it up so you get paid on every order they make during the 12 month period. This is so you can earn multiple commissions from multiple purchases.

How do you keep track of all the affiliates and commissions payable?
The management of the affiliates, tracking of leads / sales and payment of commissions is handled by ClixGalore - a specialist affiliate program provider. They use a highly sophisticated system that is world class.

How does ClixGalore know about me?
To become an Affiliate, you will need to register with ClixGalore so they can provide you with a unique identifier, track all your leads/sales and pay you commissions when due.
Registration is free and your private details remain confidential with ClixGalore.

ClixGalore will pay you directly.

How can I check on what is owing to me?
You will be given a unique login that you can use to access the ClixGalore site. In there you will find a number of detailed reports that will reveal statistics about the traffic you are referring, including the number of sales, the dollar value and the commissions you have earned.
This reporting function is one of the reasons we decided to use ClixGalore because we want everything to be as transparent and accountable as possible so you dont ever get underpaid or overpaid.... you get paid exactly the correct amount each and every time.

How much commission do I earn on a sale?
The commission structure is tiered and starts with a flat 10% on all orders we fulfill. This increases automatically if the value of orders exceeds $501 in a month. The top commission rate is 15%. Details of the tiered structure are available on the ClixGalore site.

Can I put multiple links on my web site?
Yes you can.

What is a banner?
To make things easy for you, we've created some text and graphic based advertisements that you can use - banners. These are what you use as the link and contain the hidden affiliate codes that identify you.
They come in different sizes to suit where you want to place them and some link to specific topics or products in our range. You choose the ones you want to use and we'll send you the code which you then cut and paste onto your web site.

What if I want to change the banner?
That's fine. At any point of time you can login and get a different one. In fact, we encourage you to try several different banners over time to see which ones generate the most traffic for you.

Do I have to handle any orders or take enquiries?
No. We handle all enquiries, stock levels, order taking, shipping etc. All you need to do is refer visitors and work out how you'll spend your commission cheque!

It sounds too easy. Why are you giving money away?
Yes it is easy! The reason we do it is simple economics... the more people that come to our site, the more sales we make. So we believe we should reward you for sending us visitors. This way we all reap the rewards.
Plus we also believe in abundance, so there's enough profit in each sale we make to share a bit of it around.

What happens when they order a product through an affiliated site?
In most cases we can still track the sale but there are a few suppliers we deal with where we can't do this (we are discussing with them ways to sort this out). However, we can often manually track the sale process and will always endeavour to pay you a commission where one is due.
