The 7 most important things you should know about Patrick Bright:
1. In 1996, working 90 hours a week and down to his last few bucks, Patrick knew he to do something fast to fix his business. He attended a business improvement workshop and got a business coach. Several months later he turned the business around to be an extremely profitable one, and learnt to work on the business rather than in it.
2. Patrick went on to run several businesses - some were started from scratch, others were purchased, built up then sold off. A number of business owners offered Patrick profit share and equity in exchange for his no-nonsense, profit-generating marketing ideas and advice.
3. He has over 14 years of practical experience in sales, marketing and business development and is highly sought after for his knowledge of business and all of its operations. He is often called upon as a motivational, team-building and keynote speaker.
4. First and foremost Patrick is an investor. All investors need cash flow and Patrick uses his businesses to create it. He invests in property because he discovered in his early 20s it's the smartest and safest wealth creation vehicle. He became so skilled in buying property that dozens of his friends and family began asking him to do it for them. That's how his real estate buyer's agency was born.
5. Patrick says, "It's the practical experience that gets you the results, not theory in the class room." He still regularly attends business and marketing training programs around the world to continually sharpen his skills and knowledge.
6. Patrick currently owns several businesses, most of which he only works on - not in. He has a passion for life and assisting others to achieve their dreams. He still works with a small number of business clients as he just loves the stimulation from being "hands-on", helping business owners achieve results, and the many lessons he derives from the work.
7. Patrick values his local community and has given over 10 years volunteer service to the SES (State Emergency Service). He is a J.P. (Justice of the Peace), was Vice President of his local Chamber of Commerce for four years and is a strong supporter of children's charities. He was honoured as a torchbearer at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games for his contribution to the community.
